Tom has been married for 50 years
and has two married daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Native Kansan until retirement in 2003. Moved to MountainBrook
Village in Gold Canyon at that time. Became member of Gold Canyon United
Methodist Church and am currently serving on Permanent Endowment
Committee. Also assisted in structuring the church’s current scholarship
program.
While living in Kansas earned a BS in Business at Emporia State
University and began a career in commercial banking. After 15 years,
switched to investment consulting as a stock broker for 21 years. Spent
most working years in Topeka, and while there, served on several boards
and foundations. Two major commitments included the Topeka Association
of Retarded Citizens Board and the American Baptist Churches of the
Central Region’s Foundation Investment Board.
Currently enjoy taking advantage of our community’s many activities
which include tennis, biking, golf, and singing in our community choral
group.
