DSUMF November Newsletter

News from DSUMF This Month

October was National Book Month.  I know it’s November, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to share a book we love to take to our estate planning presentations at churches. Our book is titled, I’m Dead, Now What?

The book covers all the practical information your family needs to know when you pass.  In addition, to the things you’ve thought about, like what company has your life insurance policy, it offers the opportunity to guide your family to all those other things:

  • Who are the immediate neighbors who need to be told?

  • What should your memorial or funeral service be like?

  • Where are the car keys?  The safety deposit box key?  The mailbox key?

  • What provisions have been made for the immediate and long-term care of surviving pets?

  • Do you have a list separate from your will or trust indicating who gets specific items of jewelry or other personal property?

  • What is your password on Facebook?

There are many tidbits of information you will want to provide your family when you’re gone.  And our book makes their job so much easier at a time when they are confronted by your loss.

There’s only one way to get a copy, though.  Schedule our estate planning presentation for your congregation and we’ll bring a copy for all attendees.  I’ll hope to hear from you soon to help you set up our presentation.

Blessings,
